A friend recently got hired at a bank (I think it's Meezan bank but I'm not sure) as a relationships officer, his starting pay is 27k. For fresh grads it'll be a little lower, though not by much, because this particular friend also had 3 years of previous experience as an accounts manager in a private firm. Though this is his first job at a bank and as a relationships officer, so he started as an intern for 2 months.

Hope this helps.

i works in bank my first advice never ever think of working in a bank .but if you want to get your life ruined then you should go.
salary depends on your education experience and previous salary if you are employed.
2 years back when i get hired i was graduate and no experience at all i got starting of 2ok as cash officer another guy hired as cash officer had experience of 1 year got hired at 28k .
the only good thing about bank job is you get finances easily for personal loan house loan auto loan.i got bike loan in just 4 days.i submit my case 2 days later i received confirmation and 2 days later i was given my bank draft and after finishing of working hours i went to shop bought a bike and went home for just 800 rs pm installment @0 percent
now i am getting 27k .
thats the only good thing about bank

Banks have shit salaries.

If you're a graduate from LUMS or similar, you can negotiate around 50k in certain banks. Otherwise, the standard is ~25k (~12k basic salary).

Here are banks you should aim for (better pay, better HR, more benefits):

Bank Al-Habib
Standard Chartered
Faysal Bank

then wts the use of doing such expensive studies at lums when u can hardly cover ur tution fee in future?

only good if u want to live with ur parents and they fund ur life. then i think 50k is fine

In banks education doesn't matter.I joined after doing masters and other people are bachelors even many are just ba but all are getting same salaries.
I know a person who has done simple b.a and joined bank in 2007 as cash officer and now he is area operation manger means looking after branch operations of around 10 branches and getting salary 100k+ where as people with MBA with more then 10 year experience are in 30k range and in same grade
All that matter is ur skills

Standard Chartered, Faysal, and Alfalah pays good to top universities grads. Normally starts from around 50K. Other wise in Mid 30s.
