Asus p8h61 mle USB problem

Hello everyone, I needed some insight on the problem i'm facing with my mobo. Lately, all my rear usb ports have stopped working, the front ones on the other hand function properly. The rear usb's work in the bios but stop working as soon as i reach windows. I've tried updating my bios and clearing cmos. I had this issue before also, but somehow it started working after i shut the pc down and took out the power supplying cable. Any help would be appreciated.

Additions:
1. The usb ports provide power but aren't able to read. I plugged in a usb, the usb showed light, but the windows couldn't recognise.

Have you checked any other device on those ports beside your USB Drive ? Connect and check USB Keyboard OR Mouse.

yes i did i connected the keyboard and mouse they work in the bios but stop working as soon as i reach windows i tried restarting the pc took out all the wires and put them back in but nothing worked :( !

If they work in the bios and do not in the windows, it appears to be a software issue but not the hardware. Install windows a fresh. Also download and install all latest drivers of motherboard like asus suit, chipset drivers etc. May be it is fixed.

bro check the latest drivers of ur motherboard..
and then try a latest bios flash..
that might sort out ur issue..

    So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios.     Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
