I just wanted to know why ASUS P8H61-M2/TPM/SI mobo not working/ supporting core i5 2400 with dual stick rams . It works perfectly fine with single stick ram .

However my current Asus H61M-K Mobo perfectly running core i5 2400 with dual stick 8gb rams with no issue at all . This is a strange thing happen to me which ruined me upgrading my processor yesterday.

Is this is a mobo compatibility issue or is there any BIOS settings need to be on or off or update for that ?

SENIOR MEMBERS PLEASE LET ME KNOW the SOLUTION

then keep using that board that can run your setup perfectly as chips are same you wont be getting any advantage.

Try cleaning ram slots.
Pull out cmos battery for 1 minute then reapply.

Actually the boarding m using is with 2 ram slots micro atx and i was planning to buy a mini atx board with i7 2700k .. But this strange thing happened .

My ram processor everything works fine even though processor also working with ASUS P8H61-M2 mobo as well but working only with single stick ram . if we are trying to plugging a second ram it is not showing any display .

But my ASUS H61M-K mobo running everything perfectly RAM, PROCESSOR ETC

i am guessing that would might be some bios settings issue or what else no idea bro
:(

Remove the processor and check if there is any damaged / bent pin in the socket. Check it in the daylight. If yes, try to fix it carefully with the help of a needle. If its broken or not repairable, then the problem might continue.

Having done so, install the processor back and check One ram stick at a time simultaneously in both slots. Once you are sure that system detecting ram from both dimms, than install the other stick as well.

KDKHAN @@@@ All rams slots are working absolutely fine when m plugging ram on each slots its also showing display and works fine . However . problem is only coming when am trying to using a 2 Rams at the same time ..

Current m writing this post from the system Asus H61M-K mobo with dual stick rams its working absolutely fine with i5 2400

problem occurring in P8H61-M2 board dont know why i5 2400 not supporting dual RAMS and works absolutely fine with single ram .

Let's say If there is problem with a processor then it should not work absolutely fine 100% with H61M-K board ....

I never said that problem might be with processor. I rather said it can be with pins of the socket at the motherboard. Please re-read and check socket for any bent pins.
