Don't be confused by some trolls here. Make your own call. Do you, as a PC gamer care how much revenue, market share a console generates? All you care is about the games released on PC, same way you shouldn't care what company developers chose to work with as long as you're enjoying the same gaming experience as the guy who bought said company's card.

i.e. the developers of Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider (2013), Hitman: Absolution, Far Cry 3 and some others worked with AMD but does it mean NVIDIA users can't play said games? Hell, FC3 even ran better at early stages on NVIDIA GPUs. Also, have a look at the graphs I posted above, the game (Metro: LL) is suppose to be optimized for NVIDIA graphics card, do you see any indication of AMD cards doing bad there?.

And for the record, NVIDIA already had their own API in the past named NVAPI, but it wasn't that successfull for God knows what reason.

totally agree, games don't rely on NVidia or AMD they work with both. it's more like rivalry and marketing and stealing money out of customers pocket. I played latest DX10 games on my old GTX260BE on medium settings. but I still prefer NVidia over AMD and I don't know why. maybe trust or maybe I'm used to of it.

go for nvidia.....it will serve you..difference between these cards is if you want to do high performance gaming go for AMD and if you want to do wicked hardcore gaming go for NVIDIA....reliable and more efficient for high end gaming.....see any high end built of linus, newegg, tek syndicate why they use nvidia because it is better in all ways.....it is just like that intel vs amd

That's definitely not true and somewhat misleading. AMD is far behind from Intel in desktop CPU department, in the GPU department they're very competent. i.e. AMD's Hawaii die is 30% smaller than NVIDIA's GK110 (although consume more power) but performs just as well.

Nvidia is not good.
both are at same levels, and its you who call the shot meaning you'll determine who's pocket your moneys going to :p

Well amd r9 270 is cheap price with same performance. just littebit change nvidia is not cheap but gtx 660 have physis and cuda :).if you want play game than go for amd r9 full and high :)

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
