Don't be confused by some trolls here. Make your own call. Do you, as a PC gamer care how much revenue, market share a console generates? All you care is about the games released on PC, same way you shouldn't care what company developers chose to work with as long as you're enjoying the same gaming experience as the guy who bought said company's card.so many choices don't know what to buy between NVidia and AMD war. I still love NVidia and no doubt 760 is great but out of my budget. but b/w 660gtx and 270x, 270x is superior and I don't have other choice. lets see. also if mantle is a future luxury then soon NVidia gonna come up with something to ruin this luxury, but ofcourse we don't wait for the future.
i.e. the developers of Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider (2013), Hitman: Absolution, Far Cry 3 and some others worked with AMD but does it mean NVIDIA users can't play said games? Hell, FC3 even ran better at early stages on NVIDIA GPUs. Also, have a look at the graphs I posted above, the game (Metro: LL) is suppose to be optimized for NVIDIA graphics card, do you see any indication of AMD cards doing bad there?.
Good luck with your purchase, and don't forget to show us unboxing in the related section.
EDIT:
And for the record, NVIDIA already had their own API in the past named NVAPI, but it wasn't that successfull for God knows what reason.
