Ok so yesterday I was tring guitar rig 4 with my guitar using my laptops inbuilt speakers and all was well but when I closed the programme down and was about to turn off my laptop I started getting this strange very sharp squel from my speakers ... now whenever I increase the master volume to over 40% I get that loud squel .. so does that mean my speakers are done for ? or is there still a way ? ( please let there be a way! )

Thanks,

I faced this problem with my laptop too, i heard strange squeel noises until the sound completely stopped working.
Its humidity, I'm guessing u live in karachi. there most be a lot of dust and moisture inside ur speakers, i am 100% sure

so my suggestions open the speakers and remove the dust. and always protect ur lappy from humidity.

i used to blow air from my mouth to the speakers but i found out that was really a bad idea :/ cause it damaged the speakers even more and now im only left with headphones to use with my laptop/
