It seems that the websites that are blocked when loaded are also creating DNS not found errors "sporadically" when using CloudFlare or Google DNS.

They were forced to unblock bloomberg.com (a business site) and buzfeed the other day.

Matter of time when sites like facebook, insta, twitter, youtube, reddit etc. get blocked.

They are doing it quietly under the radar.

Of course VPN and DNS can overcome this, but 99% of users in Pakistan are not tech savvy, so they don't know.

Archive only loads with external DNS or a VPN. Not with natural DNS of the ISPs.

mate you are exaggerating it a bit. I know that they have blocked quite some websites. But blocking Facebook and others.

They start small and with time can go to bigger sites as well. Remember, Youtube remained blocked for several years; and so blocking is not a problem, at all.

We can all use VPNs and DNSes but most Pakistanis have no clue what they are.

they all have the sites under radar, one push of abutton and all of these go dark... pta has configured them all

just use google dns
