Apple Macbook pro help required

AoA,
Happy Ramadan to all,now coming over to the issue,i have a Macbook pro late 2013 edition. I was travelling from Rawalpindi to Multan and kept my laptop in my briefcase which was in my lap through out the journey,Once i reached my room in Multan and turned ON the laptop it had multi colour lines (at left Vertical side stretching about 1 inch from left side and bottom horizontal, stretching again about an inch from bottom).
After that i visited the local Multan market and no one has any solution for this problem, i called Apple official store at Zamzama Karachi and sent them the pictures, they said that my screen is cracked and it will take about 60,000 RS to change the complete housing. Now since i am in Rawalpindi for Eid Leave,so what should be my course of action?

Sell it off... Spending 60k would not be advisable at all .. Thats too much for a lcd repair .. Moreover .. U can look forward to lcds for sale on ebay etc and buy it from abroad ..
My desktop lcd got the same lines outta nowhere .. So had to sell it for cheap

Actually i am reluctant to purchase it from ebay because of obvious reasons like what if the lcd is not supported by the mac,obviously the lcd from ebay is itself too expensive so i cannot count only on ebay description i have to make sure that it works smoothly :/
