Android TV Boxes ? Guide on PakGamers ?

Want to buy Android TV Boxes ..no idea what should be looked at , what tech specs might be better than others..for example there is one available on daraz for 3.5K and other for 7 K, and both do 4K on 60 FPS...so what is the difference!?


Any guide on PakGamers? ..if not, then someone please create one.

If you require just for watching TV shows and movies then I would suggest getting Xiaomi Mi Box rather then a Android TV box. Very good interface and supports Chromecast. Will probably be more expensive then a trypical Android box but worth it.

Xiaomi Mi Box 4k ... its slightly expensive than what u seeon Daraz. Itss currently around 9 to 11k depending upon vendors. If u have budget limitation then any cheaper smart box would do the job, they usually have bad UI and remote control doesnt function like we are used to ... so will have to attach keyboard n mouse for few of them ... What is ur main use for smart box? Im using Chrome Cast 2 n Ultra and it works fine with mobile apps n also streaming from PC/Mac ... Chromecast 2 is a much better option if u just want to stream through Netflix, Youtube etc ... but its not Full HD but CC Ultra costs as much as Mibox does (9k plus) so ... mibox 4k is recommended

the only use is that my bro doesnt want his kids to keep taking his work laptop and connecting that to youtube to watch cartoons, or watch use it to watch predownloaded movies..specially since young kids can abuse laptops physically, after changing 4 laptops he doesnt watch his laptop to fall victim to his kids anymore....so I think chormecast would be overkill.
Also what is the cheapest non-crappy version of this available in market ? and price ?

I have been researching on these boxes from last few weeks! already bought the Xiaomi TV enhance edition!!

-I will say! don't buy any box with 1 GB ram and KitKat
-Look for at least 2GB ram and Lollipop

Xiaomi TV Enhance edition is a fine device! but it have alot of down sizes compare to its price with other tv boxes!!

If the spaces are not a big deal you can also buy Amazon tv stick 2nd Gen its less thn 6k, and you can install KODI on it too!
If you can get thn go for the beelink GT1, a nice devices with alot to offer at a fine price!

Now the one available on Daraz from Mega Electronics! I will say just visit their store its in DHA karachi, thy also have a website! They are offering x96 tv box at 5500Rs, its a nice price! and a decent device.

well i importgged via [MENTION=72]DSM1[/MENTION] the roku priemee Plus with hdr - its an excellent device but in pakistan only net flix and works ,for amazon prime to work on it - i had to go through a length setup from antoher site to add dns setings to my router for it to install amazon video .

the mi box is another option - though its avaiable on allmytech as well , have not used it but might get it ---there is another device being sod for 3500 on facebook which has many channels they say 1000+ will post a link here as well

I have mxqpro 4k since 3 months now and its working amazing. I have kodi on it and connected it to my projector for HD BLURay Movies. I even play movies from my usb using it. It has sdcard slots and 4 usb slots, it has hd audio too. Check its reviews kinda nice. U will find the cheapest on techcity. Well i did dont know about pricing now

If I buy one of these boxes can I run smart tv on them with time shift tv?

So i bought a Mi Box from AMT. It is my first experience with Android TV and i am primarily using Kodi on it and also sideloaded Chrome on it for browsing. Enjoying the experience so far. Got it for Rs. 9,350/- what other cheaper options are available that will run Kodi smoothly? I am looking to get this for someone else.
