Blu-ray uses no compression techniques

for example oblivion uncompressed is 26gigs
but compressed is 6gigs

so a full-on 50gig ps3 game (if there ever is one) would turn into around 11gig compressed (which would be a 2 disc 360 game which is doable)

downside ov compressing- lower quality audio
upside ov compressing- FASTER LOAD TIMES
i'll leave you with your ass handed to you
blu-ray is overkill for games end ov story ........

this has been done to death. checkout the google cache.

summary - who cares ? games were never about more data space and compression technologies are better now than ever before. the presence of a hdd doesnt hurt either.

and in both those senses the ps3> 360,greater and customizeable HDD and a disc media with tripple the storage.

the blu ray can store more than 50 Gb rite???..and the 360 can about 7 or 8??

the standard 360 DVD's used store up to 9gb max.

the Blu ray's used for PS3 games right now use 25gb max but the ps3 is probably capable of reading dual layer blu ray discs as well so in the future there might be 50 gb one's as well
