This is the day I was waiting for a while because I had plenty of stuff in my AliExpress wishlist that I wanted to buy. In the past, I've had to ask for help from people with Credit Cards, but this time Pakistani Debit card wored on this website.

What cards have worked for you on AliExpress and when?

Can we buy anything from Ali Express when living in Pakistan? Do they actually deliver stuff? Any one has had any experience with Ali Express?

its a pre paid card, and I think you don't need a bank account to use it.

My experience with AliExpress has been good so far, although you have to wait a while for your stuff to be delivered. Somewhere around 30 to 60 days if you're opting for free shipping.

Once an item didn't arrive but the seller offered me the money back. Unfortunately I can't use PayPal so I wasn't able to get that money back.

Anyways, for every product, you can see the ratings that people have given. This helps you understand if the seller is going to be a good one.

I think two years ago, the SCB Debit Card wouldn't work, so I had to ask someone to use their Credit Card.

Packages are delivered to your home through local post. You can choose expensive payment options too.

You can find some pretty amazing deals on November 11, they might do a New Years sale too.

Yes they deliver. Your money is safe. Many time I have had items that were not delivered where the tracking said that item has reached Pakistan. The money is refunded.

For small items tax ranges from zero rupee to 60-70 rupee depending on where you live.
Shipping depends on the seller and most sellers offer free or very cheap shipping($1-3) (takes 20+ day) as well as expensive express shipping.

Yes it works almost everywhere. It works like a bank account and you don't need an actual bank account to use it.

We should really have verified lists of Websites and what Pakistani payment options work for them. One place to get this information would be great. I guess thats something AliExpress should think about.

i am going to try aliexpress yes i saw some free shipping offering. with huge delay of 15 to 25 days... but its okay.. let me take a risk by taking a trail shopping about 100$ and let see.

I am a regular buyer at aliexpress.com for past 2 years now. I have ordered and received many items. For instance android Tvs, Mobile cases, accessories, baby items and toys etc.

My experience with this website is very satisfactory. Free shipping take weeks no doubt, some time more than a month but i have not been fooled or caught up in fraud. Ali express has a brilliant buyer protection service which is quite effective. Recently i ordered a 4$ case for my s6 Edge and when it came it was broken. I took a snap and opened a dispute at their website and within hours seller's response came in and asked me to either return the money or send the item again. Now i have that new case they sent me in perfect condition, while keeping the last one.

As far as custom is concerned, it can cost u. Once i ordered android TV which was listed for 52$ on the website but when it came the post man claimed a custom tax of ruspees 2500. But before that i have ordered the same item twice and didn't pay any tax.

I used MCB Lite Card and it works like a charm.

Thanks for sharing your experience.. Can you tell a little more about the custom tax? When/How does a customer pays it(when receiving the product)? And have you ever ordered shoes or clothes from there?

Well it happened twice for me. As i have mentioned earlier, when i ordered Android Tv stick the local postman made the delivery (as always). He asked for custom tax and by the looks of my parcel it was clear that someone opened it to its core and applied the tax according to the item. So i paid to that postman.

However, one time i ordered a special digital receiver with internet capability usually used for C-line ( in which u can watch all premium channels for free) and its price was 60$. After a month someone called me from lahore (custom department) that u have to come to our office to receive ur parcel after paying custom of 4000! Rs. I went to lahore and received that parcel and it costed me freaking 10k
So what i think it depends on what type of item you are ordering and also it depends on those custom guys who sometimes don't even bother looking into the items.

As far as clothing is concerned. I have ordered couple items for my new born kid a year ago. They were not made out of good stuff and looked quite cheap. Apart from that i haven't ordered anything related to apparel.

There are hundreds of suppliers that have access to offer their items on ali express, it depends on those vendors too. Some are very quick in delivering the items, others might take long , some have good quality items and others might not. My suggestion would be to read the customer reviews before paying for the item because you will have an idea about the delivery and the quality of the product which that particular vendor is selling.

Guys one of my friends ordered an SSD from Aliexpress Worth $108 , can anyone tell me whether any Custom Duty/Tax will be charged or not. And if so then how much will be charged?
He is shipping it to Lahore and chose Free Shipping at check out.

I have ordered some stuff from Ali Express.. Payment successfully done with MCB Lite. Let's see when it arrives and in what condition... A lot of the stuff there is cheaper than what is available locally.
