Alien vs Predator 2 : Survival of the fittest

this just came out of nowhere for me a few weeks ago as i wasnt paying much attention to movie sites but seems there's a almost finished AvP sequel in the works, thankfully not being directed by mr anderson, and its already finished its principal photography..

here's the first official released image from the movie...

The movie is being directed by the strause brothers, known more for their visual FX direction in movies like T3 and fantastic 4, this is their first movie picture directorial debut. Here's hoping they make a better movie..

but still im a huge fan of the franchise (mix and either one individually) hence im drawn to this automatically... here's REALLY hoping that the strauce brothers do what anderson couldnt.

anyway, some good news is that the predator design will be the same as the one in P1 (sleek and quick, not bulky as in AvP) and the aliens will resemble the one's in Alien 2 (the best alien movie ever) and the movie will be a hard R rating movie, no PG13 anderson bullshit here.

naah, they didnt even contact her for an appearence in the second movie, that part of the story's been finished..


the popular speculation on the net is that the second movie will take place right after the first one, the predalien grows large quickly slaughters some of the predators on the predator ship and the ship crashes in middle america, afterwards the remaining surviving predators try to hunt the predalien and the captive aliens on the ship (the predators keep a few dozen on their ship in cages) escape and start running rampant as well.

nice story ... would love to watch it ..but after my exam ends on february 1st ..teh first thing i am gonna do is get these movies .. that i've been waiting to see this whole semester
