Advise Regarding Cat

I adopted a Ragdoll cat from a friend. I brought the cat from LHR to my home in another city. Everything was smooth until a couple of days ago. A male cat (stray) is always meowing around my home and now my cat is meowing aloud all the times and does not rest, does not eat and does not sleep. I understand it is all about mating, but I don't want my cat to mate with that stray male cat.
Any Help, please?
