Got my new mobo the other day from Galaxy.
Installed it into my new system. System posted. Got into bios. CPU was running at 75c at idle cause the CPU fan header wouldn't recognise the h80i gt. The temps were stable at 75c - too high, I know, but not high enough to do any damage. At the time i thought the used h80i gt that i bought (from someone here on PG) was a dud.
Took the mobo and PSU in to get checked out at a local shop. They said the PSU was okay and that it was the mobo that wasn't working. The circuitry under the round Asus symbol was running hot - even though the board was only plugged in and not turned on.
I sent the board back to Galaxy and of course they are telling me that some pins were bent!! If I had bent some pins when installing the CPU then the system would to have been able to enter the BIOS!!
Any ideas on what i should/can do? I'm in Peshawar...
