Yar its only a facebook group, you are not promoting some thing for your personal gains i.e. getting leads.

And yeah F9 syllabus for June 2013 has been changed

I did Post the link in the first invitation but the post got deleted. I was told FB links r against the rules, any link where log in is required. Try searching for a page named (f9 tips) on facebook. Its a page i made, that m not using. I'll transfer u from there to the main group. Or Give me ur skype id, i'll post it there 4 u.

Acca getting tougher

ACCA can't get any tougher. It has 2 maintain achievable pass rates, otherwise people will stop subscribing 2 it and that will b the end for them. They have 2 make money after all. Pass rates below 35% are danger level, when that happens they sometimes change the examiner or paper format. F5, prime case. Only in advance level optional papers they keep pass rate around 30%, which r very tough 2 clear.

That's true, but why do they want so many members? For their Money, i'd say. Same goes 4 students. They bring more money, probably a lot more than members. In pakistan how many people start ACCA and leave it in the middle. Besides there wont b any members in future if subscribers reduce.

OMG its so pathetic to see people actually think like that regarding the body they themselves are affiliated with. Really, Really Pathetic!
ACCA is a completely NOT FOR PROFIT organization, working and striving ONLY to produce good quality accountants. Its not there to fill the pockets of its executives, its there to contribute towards the betterment of the overall global accountancy profession, AND IT HAS!
It has been over a century, yes A CENTURY, since the beginning of this organization. A body with such greediness incorporated in its goals does not stand a chance to survive this long. Its still their only and solely because it has achieved to make a difference (something that goes beyond the intellect of people who think it wants members and students only because its more lucrative).

I was referring 2 what Saadi said that ACCA's doing ie Being Not for profit and stuff.
My point is that ACCA is not like ur usual NFP's. Its huge and needs more and more money every day just 2 achieve its task. I m talking from operational point of view not emotional ie what i feel about them.
