    Yup it does contain a magnet to detect the cover opening/closing. Perhaps as big as a company as Samsung wouldn't have overlooked the possibility of magnet causing any issue.

    I have this original S-view cover. I have got a problem, it's outer layer is peeling off from the edges! Think I have to glue it back rather. Another issue is, it messes with magnetic sensor. So qibla app becomes unreliable.

    Ha thanks. Yeah a friend mentioned m&p one too, saying it has better terms too I think. Apparently there's no known defect which exists, so that's a relief.
