    A technical explanation can be asked for, from the technical staff. But here is what i think:

    The problem is that it hampers the bandwidth for many users. A heavy weight Signature (or animated one) will obviously require more bandwidth to get drawn, which may kill the 'browsing experience' for some.

    This is probably why Animated Signatures are not allowed. However, Avatars can be used (given its dimensions are 100x100 pixels and weight less than 70KB )

    Also, FYI, to be able to reply to my "Visitor Messages", you will have to come to MY profile and leave a message there. Thats how Visitor Messages work.

    i can resize it but is it really important not to use animated sig? it would be very cool okay i will change as i dont want to violate any terms or rules

    Kindly READ the rules. You are not allowed to use:
    - Animated Signtaures
    - A signature crossing 450x130 pixels ... and weight should be less than 150KB.

    Change the Signature.

    Use google if you have to.
