    You would still need to power the drive through external power, as a desktop HDD can not be powered through USB. USBs simply do not have enough power. Use an external HDD case to connect the drive to your laptop.

    Whats the price you are getting both at? and whats your final budget? I haven't used the Samsung one so can't say good or bad for it. The ASUS one is good in display, but again stand problem. You can also get viewsonic VX2439 for 21k - 22k from czone.

    Thanks man. Here's to hoping something under 100k comes :( Thing is, I have read alot of benchies, which seem to put the 630M somewhere between the 540 and 550 yet the price on the 630M 2GB with i7 3rd Gen is cheaper like 80 - 90k.

    Actually a very good laptop is already available. HP DV7 with i7 3720QM pro, 2TB HDD, 8GB Ram, Beats Audio, Blu-Ray and 2GB nvidia GT650M (A very good card) for 146k. Sadly my budget does not allow me get this one. :( I am not looking for Mac. Windows only I am afraid and besides Macs cost too...
