    i can personally vouch for the WD Caviar black 1TB. my suggestion would be to go for the sata 3 6GB/s version available from galaxy. if you partition it into 300GB and 700GB drives, the speeds you get will actually be more than the WD velociraptor. also, what lcd/led are you getting with this...
