off topic but just a word of advice..i'd recommend waiting till LT+ for the slim comes out before upgrading if you're going the xbox way. i have it and kinda stuck...
i have a samsung T260HD and a T220 at home. i had the viewsonic posted above at work for almost a year and switched to dell a few months ago. quite a significant difference in quality. honestly, the screen on my laptop was better than the viewsonic.

the 2ms and 5ms you see written on lcds is gray-to-gray response time. this usually represents the time it takes from the lcd switched off to full brightness. what you need to know if you play games is that 2ms is probably the lowest you will need - you won't see any ghosting.

i can personally vouch for the WD Caviar black 1TB. my suggestion would be to go for the sata 3 6GB/s version available from galaxy. if you partition it into 300GB and 700GB drives, the speeds you get will actually be more than the WD velociraptor.

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform.Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
