well, your just at the very start of the game, if you dont like it cause of the big eyed anime girls and all, then thats sort of a lame reason not to like it if you ask me
the battle system is pretty fast paced and fun, and the story gets more awesome as you progress, the whole school things during the day can get a big repetitive, but thats really up to the player, there's so much to do in the game ..
also, the chick who voices mitsuru, (also hrist from VP2 Silmeria) is so awesome. Mitsuru will develop into the most interesting character by the end of the game.. (Especially if you complete her social link subquest thingie that you will get to know about in a little while).
also, get yer damn ps2 fixed already .. you've still got odin sphere to play, and FES is coming out later this month with Persona 4 later this year ..
*ps . i beat tales of the abyss, t'was a really good game, the graphics sucked donkey balls compared to something like final fantasy, but the story and characters were interesting, now im replaying the game a second time cause the FAQ's tell me there's a shit load of things that i missed the first time, and even more unlockables in second playthrough's.
