1. both pci-e 1.0 and 2.0 run on 16x its a difference of bandwidth on each lane (double actually), u won't notice much performance difference
2. just a few mhz of difference, sensors sometime show a few +/- incorrect values
3. dunno abt third issue but always use single volume manager i.e...
u should go for ubuntu for netbooks, it will give u decent performance, it is designed for notebooks/netbooks so driver installation might not be a problem
check ur temps in bios, sometimes software reports it incorrectly... if they are the same then take temps under load, donot open ur heatsink unless u r sure that its thermal paste problem
it depends on the amount of RAM ur system currently has, if u have 4+ GB of ram u should go for x64 as 32 bit (x86) os don't use more than 4GB of ram, note that 32 bit apps would work fine under 64 bit environment. further more processors after early pentium 4s already support 64 bit...

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
