I am soo happy that a ton of stuff we did in preproduction made it into the game, and it runs well!

I remember when I said this is gonna be one of the best years ever for gaming, someone was trying to argue with me on that.

The "We Sing" chapter is probably my favorite gaming moment of the year. They outdid the Dr. Darling song from Control.

No, havent had any time..Parents are visiting here.
Having said that, I know what you are talking about, again,
I feel I was too close to the game to have any semblance of the reception or how the game feels for anyone going into it not knowing what happens.

Xbox Series X is obviously a superior hardware with 12.1 terraflops against the 10.3 terraflops of PS5. And this games shows.

I was also itching to buy the better hardware. But the problem with the latest gen Xbox is the lackluster and rather boring exclusives as compared PS5. And no one but MS is to blame for the failure.

PlayStation LifeStyle - 6/10

Those 13 years should have led to something better, and it’s surprising that they haven’t. Alan Wake’s gunplay has gone from dull to frustrating in the sequel, while its venture into true survival horror has been plagued by predictability and amateurish jump scares. Its narrative has a few memorable moments and is able to periodically use its outlandish antics to its advantage, yet it is still dragged down by its refusal to provide enough rewarding resolutions to its litany of riddles. Alan Wake 2 doesn’t improve on what made the original such a cult hit and is instead an uncharacteristically rough draft that needed more edits. It’s not a lake or an ocean. It’s a disappointment.

Alan Wake 2 presents a thrilling narrative journey, experienced through two different characters' perspectives and with some wild moments to get through. It looks simply jaw-dropping, even if its combat isn't necessarily the best.
