Imagine believing animation priority can be overcome by running at a higher frame rate

All those actions are tied to animation priority.

Which directly affects how responsive a game feels.

Worked pretty well for RDR2. If that can be made better, anything can

The 3rd person mode is heavy on animation priority, and you barely see an improvement going from 30 to 60 fps (Alex didn't even bother sharing the 120fps test ).



It's only in 1st person mode, where animation priority is less of a factor, that you actually see a noteworthy improvement

God of War has Nvidia Reflex Boost as well



This keeps getting better for PC users

Reflex Boost has increased stutter in a lot of games that support it. Good luck

Some people don't have the capaCiTy to understand but this, along with higher frame rates, is gonna be transformative in this game.

I mean, there's gonna be some improvement to input latency, but , as the above RDR2 comparison shows, you can only do so much when the animation priooority is that high. The dodge mechanic is one of the moves that didn't have much animation priority to begin with. The quick attack still looks sluggish for being a, well, quick attack

On top of that, Nvidia's low latency mode is known for messing with game engines if proper effort isn't put into its implementation, leading to stutter. Let's see if Cory Lolrog and his team put some effort in this area
