Improving PING on Optix

I recently got 60 Mbps Optix, pretty happy with speeds but i would like to know if theres a way to improve my ping for online gaming? I switched from PTCL but even though Optix is fiber optic i havent seen much difference in Pings. What can be done? Im from LHR.

You can try out WTFast VPN. Worked pretty great for me and reduced my ping by 50-60% to international servers. They provide a 3 day trial to try out their service and if you like it then you can buy it. It's like 10$ per month.

That is not the case if you invest in a good VPN specifically optimized for gaming. Cheap and free VPNs increase latency but good VPNs such as WTFast, Killping etc help reduce ping. They are developed for this purpose and WTFast worked great for me in my personal experience.

Don't throw random words if you aren't sure. WTFast improves the ping from 300 to 150 for me. These kind of programs give you their own routing which is a lot better than shitty companies like PTCL.

I know how you feel. Back in KSA I used to get 55-80ms on international servers (EU,Asia) and USA servers were under 170ms but since I moved here PTCL has been a pain to deal with. Their support staff doesn't understand crap. After learning that there are no other good alternatives available I had to stick with PTCL and just live with this bs. At first it felt very sluggish and laggy to play with over 100ms and some random disconnects but I am kind of used to it now. You just have to deal with it. No other option except a good VPN. Now pings over 150ms feel fine to me because I had to increase my maximum acceptable latency in online gaming because of crap PTCL. I was used to low latency but now over 100ms is fine for me.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.

    170 + countries where Steam sells but PSN doesn't will lose access unless they use VPN
