Did the same to my area (Officers Colony Phase 4). Internet was out for 4 days and there was work being done at the cabinet. They opened up the cabinet itself took out all the switches in rows and installed new ones.

Exactly. There are 2 cabinets, they only upgraded the smaller one.

They probably switched your connection to adsl because vdsl doesn't have fastpath but is much more stable than adsl. I would take 10-15ms higher ping any day because vdsl is much more stable and offers higher upload speeds as it is FTTC. Tell them to switch you back to vdsl if you don't care that much about fastpath.

so i'm thinking about going back to PTCL, again but they don't have Fibre in my area yet so i can only get VDSL, can anyone post their ping to seas server on rainbow six siege? and package aswell

Exactly the same situation here. The big cabinet is at the very start of the colony while this small one is just for phase 4.

My theory here is that they'll get fiber to the big main cabinet for the area and then afterward's it will be copper.

The big cabinet is roughly ~1km away from my house which still wouldn't be that bad tbh. VDSL would still work just fine (Although if it was <.5km it would've been better).

I have 20mbps VDSL and i usually get 100-120ms to SEAS servers however i get 200ms+ on some SEAS servers such as 137.116.130.11 so i use my router filter to block those servers. My IP pool is 39.37.xxx.xxx. I have complained to PTCL to fix the inconsistent ping on SEAS servers so lets see if they actually fix it.

In my case, both the cabinets are placed next to each other and are about 300m away from my home. And according to your theory, it will be FTTC not FTTH.
According to me, they will deploy FTTH based on demand, others may get FTTC only as FTTH installation charges are quite hefty.

It will indeed be FTTC for most other users and afterward's it will be ADSL/VDSL (After FTTC of course) or FTTH for customers. <<< Let's hope this is indeed what is happening and we'll get FTTC/FTTH (Dependent on the user) in about 2 months tops.

Bilkuo sahi kaha jahan per speed ki demand hogi wahan per GPON mille ga we just have to wait few months for fibre to be deployed and it will all be good for us.

In wah, only Zong 4G works. There is jazz 4G but idk if it's available here. For zong, you get get the Bolt Ultra router device or one of the other mbb devices (You can get a USB MBB device along with a TP-Link router that supports 4G Dongles).

So i want to know that how do you block an ip in ptcl router? if u got a specific method can u share because i play fortnite and i have the same issue with asia servers and i want to block that ip which gives higher pings.

Zong 4G is choked most of the times here, it used to be good for gaming back then but now it sucks. Jazz 4G is quite good.

Atm i am playing online with telenor 4g but i meed something solid like zong 4g.

Zong 4g mein kafi stable ping hoti hai compare to other 4g providers

Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
