Xiaomi no longer launching new models in Pakistan?

They are taking pre order only! as i ordered it a day before yesterday, & today surprisingly i received a notification of "item has been shipped" along with Leopard courier Tracking code and i also got a confirmation msg from Leopard courier! i expect it to be delivered either tomorrow or on Monday.
BTW i think its PRO version.
Anyways i'll update the thread once i get my hand on it.
Got it today, it is redmi note 5 Pro with 3GB of Ram and 32GB storage and Qualcomm Snapdragon 636.
Overall I'm very pleased with it. The bazelless design at this price point is just awesome.
Micro Usb is the only con I see.

Do you know this person personally? If yes, ask them which specific website and vendor they bought the phone from, otherwise you're just spreading rumors without any merit to them.

It reports only 21GB as available storage out of 32GB, with only 17GB free space (after installing apps/games?). Where is all this space going? The recovery partition/etc is taking up 11GB of space???

What are your impression of it so far? Can you tell me what the overnight idle battery drain is? I have read on XDA that many Users have issues with idle battery drain issues, with the phone losing 8-10% charge overnight when not in use.
Also, I've read on XDA about heating issues. Have you used any CPU intensive applications like games and noticed heating?
bro i don't play any CPU intensive games or benchmarks on smartphone, the battery life has been pretty good thus far. and IDLE battery drain is hardly 4% for me.
So you plan to keep this phone for the next year or so at least?
My personal experience with Xiaomi products is that they aren't built to last, but maybe that's just my experience with their products.
They have removed the full list of upcoming phones from this page. Last time I saw this page, it listed A2, A2 lite, Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Mi 8.
They launched Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Mi 8 at the launch event at some hotel in Lahore. The Redmi6 or 6A aren't worth buying, and the Mi 8 is retailing for 65k. There are better options at that range such as the One Plus 6.
