Hmm can you order a vdsl connection from 1218 ?, I need some insight i am sick of dealing with office guys.Apparently new numbers are installed here with new DPs and we have a msag here too.My old connection is really old it can't even run 2mbs LMAO.I was told to get a new connection.I think these new connections are transformed ones.The office guys are bunch of what should i say..
Help me guys.
Will ordering a new connection help ( old one is about 17 years old)

2nd can i force then to install a vdsl ?

Currently using zong 4g , Dont have a dsl option other than ptcl in my area.

can someone please tell me if this VDSL service is available in North Nazimabad Block A area ?

P.S : I am using PTCL 4MPBS DSL connection atm but due to frequent disconnections in the Copper Line DSL, i am trying to find decent alternatives. Help me out please !

Dial 1236 not 1218

- Select option place a new order
- When the guy picks up the phone, ask if VDSL is available for your number

If you want it installed, order there and then, if not then say thank you and cut the call.

i live in clifton karachi. i called 1236 and the guy said transform package is not available. i then called my ptcl exchange direct number (searched it on google) and the guy said yes it is available. gave him my landline number and all set. new vdsl2 router installed after 2 days and package changed. was using 8mb connection, got 10mb transform package. torrent speed is 1.1 mb/s and internet download manager gives 1.3mb/s max. pretty satisfied so far (been a few hours only). and my disconnect issues happening since 2 weeks are not happening today after router and package change.

can anyone tell how to access the router settings? 192.168.1.1 does not work. 192.168.10.1 asks for username password. i tried many combinations such as "admin" and my actual wifi password, it's not giving me access to the router settings. my new router is Wireless N 300 vdsl2 model HG150-Ub

Vdsl modem k liye kya number b new issue hota hai?

if i am not mistaken, fully fiber infrastructure ky liyay u will get a new number..partial fiber ky liyay new number not needed..

got my first bill for ptcl 10mb vdsl in clifton karachi. my fixed broadband cost is Rs 2,783 excluding freedom package, taxes, etc. Q1: i thought 10mb package would cost 2500 plus tax, why is it rs 2783? i used only 140gb of data for the month. Q2: i thought freedom package makes ptcl and ufone calls free but my bill shows charges levied on calls to ufone cell numbers. Q3: i have been charged Rs 72 for cell phone calls. but i seem to have also been charged Rs 45 extra under the freedom package. are they double charging or what?someone please explain my bill. photo of my bill can be found here: ptcl bill — imgbb.com

Contact ptcl live chat on their website or on their app. There is a FUP policy for free calls. You may be going over the limit

Availability of PTCL VDSL2 in Askari 4, Karachi

Hi guys,

Has PTCL started offering "VDSL2 Transformed" connections to the residents of Askari 4 (Army Officers Housing Scheme) in Karachi?

I created a thread because this question would have gotten lost in the other one. Anyone else living there who can confirm or deny it? There's been a lot of work going on recently, but not sure if VDSL2 TRANSFORMED packages are available now.

Transformed packages are available everywhere as a standard package from today. if u have VDSL you can upgrade to any transform package of choice. no need to wait for the exchange to be transformed completely
