my humble two cents, brands don't mean crap, listening is highly subjective, a pair of high end Bose might sound crap to you while it may be God's best gift to human kind to your friend, for any audio equipment take the reviews with a pinch of salt, go and listen as per your taste and decide, Till now honestly the best bang for buck for me has been A4tech's ... damn they are fine as far as i am concerned, i recently bought Minix NT-II Bluetooth headphones and have only used them once, i don't like the SQ to be honest, if someone want them do PM me, I would be looking around for another pair of decent wireless headphones in Dubai which would go along my Xbox One & Mobile
Sir, I indeed second your motion.
I have surely experienced this.
I have $5 to $20 gear that sounds better than 100s of dollars worth of gear, and yes, bang for buck is in the lowest price section.
I replaced one of my broken overear cans drivers (PKR6000 pair) with some cheap broken A4Tech on-ear drivers. The 300 rupay walay drivers are smaller, and BETTER in every way, and sound kickA$$.

Some brands are worth the money, but not all. And personally, as many other pricier cans I have, I would always skip Beats and Bose (personal reasons). But needless to say, I have much more pricey stuff, but I'd never pay those two companies a cent.

Anyhow, I completely agree with your point.
Your two cents are actually many dollars, if people actually look into things instead of brands.

Hifiman is the most pricey audiophile brand out there, and a pretty good bang too (comparatively). And many don't even know, and it's a MADE IN CHINA thing (brand, production, everything), and their quality kicks above any Japanese, American, German or Austrian brand. But they have cheap shit also. I mean, it's better to get their cans than stupid and pricey Beats and stuff. But again, there are hundreds of other, so much cheaper brands people often overlook. Just like many $5 earbuds are storming over on headfi, and people are using thousands of dollar worth of amps with $5 buds.

It's pretty complicated. But yes, PRICE, BRAND and BLING are just words. It's much more than that. And sometimes you find wonders in the cheapest packages, and shit in the most expensive. You never know. You need to dig deep.

Again, agreed to what you just said.

Hmm... well maybe it is risky too, then, if you got fakes.
Well, on AliExpress, you do have to keep a lookout.
I can say good about those $20 hammerheads, but not for everything.
Remember though, if the price is too good, there is a huge risk.
I could tell you about what I ordered, but not about what I didn't.

BTW you guys should really grab those cheap buds (in-ear headphones). I grabbed mine and I don't even like IEMs anymore. It's a headphone like experience really. Dig up HeadFi - I've reviewed some stuff too, among other folks.

Man, those are TOO DAMN GOOD. Just too damn good. The closest thing to my audiophile basshead wooden $800 headphones (in an IEM/in-ear form factor) are those $5 buds. Nuff said. Bass is unbelievable for earbuds.

Guys... let's do one thing. FB is fast. PG gets slow sometimes.
I've made a group on Facebook. Surprisingly enough, there's no group for Pakistani audiophiles on FB. So here: Log into Facebook | Facebook

Could you please join in, and also drop your phone numbers to me on my PM so that I also make a WhatsApp group?
It would surely help us all in talking about stuff, buying suggestions and more.
In your own time guys. My WhatsApp is +971522205477. I'll add others in it already.

This will ONLY BE for Pakistanis and no other BS, so that we keep things to the point and relevant.

These are pretty good. The best earphones I had in that budget. But due to there popularity there are many fakes on AliExpress. I ordered around 5 of these separately in a span of some months and out of 5 2 were fakes. So better be careful.

Earphones in this budget that I liked are Rock Zircon, KZ ED9 and Xiaomi Piston 3. If you want good amount of bass then forget Piston 3 and get one of the other two (I personally prefer Rock Zircon).

Aliexpress is full of fake products. You have to be very careful when buying anything from there. Generally all products of Razer, Steelseries and such brands are replicas. You can find genuine products of chinese brands. But there are many fakes of those as well. Basically anything that is too low priced and doesn't have too much user rating should be avoided. You should read user reviews for every product and contact seller directly to inquire about genuineness of the product.

If you don't want to order from Aliexpress and want to buy something locally then instead of these get A4tech earphones. Or you can buy genuine handsfree of HTC, Samsung or Sony in this range.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
