Living in karachi. You always have a risk of being stopped by Police whether traffic or otherwise while also living with the risk of losing your wallet whether it being an armed robbery or pickpockets. Last time I lost my wallet I got my new license pretty easily but OMG was getting CNIC remade a pain in the behind.

so the question arises is it necessary to carry original CNIC and License or is color copy with lamination good enough for generally roaming around the city?

Cause police make up a lot of shit just to get a little cash out of you. I have seen people enter government building enter on basis of color copy CNIC and i have seen traffic police call my legit license a fake one.

So what is actually true. Am i legally obliged to carry original cause if not I'd rather keep the original at home so I don't have to go through hell to get those remade if i lose them.

I carry original cards.
I keep my money outside my wallet in a different pocket.

But most of the times I dont carry my wallet. Cards in one pocket and money in other.

I use my front jeans pocket or front pocket (with button) on my shirt.

I never carried my original cards in karachi. Also got mugged once too thankfully didn't lose anything valuable. So it's a pretty common practice

Is the situation in karachi still that bad with muggings all around?

I think legally you're supposed to have your CNIC with you at all times, due to the security situation in the country.
Not sure about driving license. When ever i visit a busy place, i always keep my wallet in jeans front pocket,
and frequently check it and the mobile over jeans pockets.

I don't need to carry either CNIC or driving license with me though.
My job has some perks in cases like these.

As a citizen, you should carry your original document. But the scenario in Karachi makes it a bit different. When there is a security issue, just carry it on those days. Rest you can get a duplicate photocarded document attested for your use, which can work for some reason.

Online session is enabled for UBL. I have an active subscription with my NayaPay card (it is already added to Google Payment Methods).

  • B Baghi:
did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

  • Aciel Aciel:
I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

Nope. They have a very valid case. The above video explains it all.

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
