4K DSR vs 1080p

so i been testing with Nvidia DSR 4K on my 1070 amp Extreme and i m amazed by the results

for now wll upload image of one game later more wll b posted .. if anyone have smilar results can share also

DSR Smoothness is kept 6% from Nvidia Control Panal

Zoom in on both pictures to c it Completly
Note : I am using Offical Nvidia DSR and not other softwares.

DSR is indeed gift from God . If even after playing on 1440p DSR you see jaggies but don't have the horse power to downsample further just inject SMAA from sweetfx into your game unlike shitty fxaa, it's really good looking and not as demanding as MSAA either. Sweetfx really enhances your game at a minimal performance loss. Also it has a sharpening filter too and tons of other options so there's that.

you are right but here m testing the Offical Nvidia DSR.. not other apps... its the offical support from Nvidia.

Secondly please Ignore imgur uploads for now. Imgur images not visible to most PG members here in Pakistan. A good alternative is Extraimago.com use BBcode to post image link on forum.

I will do that now.. i wasnt able to Upload full quality image on other website as the image of 4k Dsr was 40MB each xD thats why i used imggur i wll change it now.

m just showing the graphical difference FPS difference is Huge almost 50%

Which monitor are you using for 4k resolution ? Please mention and kindly also mention - does it lag while playing at 4k resolution in GTX 1070 ?

ofcorse there will b it wont b a 100% thing but close enough.
but 1080p monitor with DSR is better.. bcoz u can max out a game for long and if game requires less juice just ply on DSR 4k

4k monitor makes the movies blur on 1080p so tht is also somthing to consider.

its a LG IPS 27Inch 27MP77 1080p Monitor... m using DSR

and Yes 1070 isn't made for 4k gaming most of the games on 4k have 40-45fps without AA and without MSAA

Ok I have gotten your point regarding screen - I want to ask what is DSR in GTX 1070 ? Is it a feature or an option in Software of 1070 - I would like to ask which GPU is better for upcoming dx 12 games if we will play at 4k or 2k or 1080p ? Suggest me.

for now 4k i dont think u can game unless u have 2x 1070 atleast to enjoy 4k gaming.. 2k works okay wid most games with 1070 but i cant say the same for 6months later regarding Maxing out.

DX12 isnt doing much interms of graphics stay dx11.

Here i took shots with 92 inch projector screen with 12 mp camera couldnot find direct feed difference no dought screen shots taken from software will show more pixels

dude i m trying to use DSR with games like Wolfenstein new order and fallout 4 but for some reason its not working. how did u manage to force it in your games?
