first of all you can see my pc specs in my profile.

now the proble: my GPU was giving problems few days back. i was getting artifacts when playing a simple video. i thought it could be due to overheating so took all of my hardware out and clean the entire CPU's dust then i installed back all the components i.e GPU, sound card and HDDs. so after pressing power button it refused to boot not a single movement in fans no power lights whatsoever.

so i took out my GPU and tried to power the system but nothing happened same as before. i checked with a tester that current was coming in the motherbaord but it is not powering up. current was even coming on the CPU cooler which was CM hyper 212. so left the system as it is then after sometime without gpu being installed the system started to get power (my LAN lights turned on) i hit the power button and system booted up without any problem.

i used to for 2-3 days but yesterday i again tried to install the GPU the problem repeated again and now since yesterday my system is dead no power at all. i checked it with and without GPU.

i am unable to found what is the problem. is it either GPU PSU or motherboard the probelm is i dont have anyother PC to check the PSU and GPU.

if anyone can help in this regard plz suggest.

IF You were getting artifacts WITHOUT overheating on a perfectly working GPU.
That indicates a PSU Issue. It also happens when theres a huge power drop in your part. (Specifically, the GPU)

I Really hope you didnt fry/kill anything.
Trying another PSU is your best bet, and the first one.

The problem of my system resolved in kind of a funny way. The power cable was fualty :baby: it has a big 3 pin plug with a fuse installed that fuse was faulty i changed the cable and now system is working without any problem.

the GPU on the other side is still giving problem now system shutsdown after the bootup.

the artifacts looks exacly like these

and then no screen at all total black and i have to start the windows again. the onbaord IGPU works fine.

So i think GPU is dying...

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️
