Just change the RAMs to gSKILL. and dual channel. gained upto 1300 score with them.

i'm just getting just above 1000 on 4790k @5.00ghz and 24gb ram
m i doing some thing wrong that u guys r doing right
like come on 1500 on 3rd gen pro and and i'm using a better pro and overclocked but less score

i got 11k+ on 2600K @5.1GHz, so your CPU should give above 13K+. i guess. due to newer gen
check if your cpu cores aren't Park. Throttling also lower the score.
use latest and 64 bit version of Winrar
you have this ram "24gb Ballistix Sports 1600mhz"? if so then your score is justified
... 9-9-9-24 @ 1600 MHz!! this benchmark RAM dependent, especially ram timings.. if possible try to OC your ram then check the score
Goto Task Manager and resources and CPU there you can see cores, if they are park, there are mentioned as core park.
