One of the common problems that many LG Optimus G pro users face:

Auto-Brightness:

The auto brightness function on LG works different as compared to other phones, you have to set the arrange first and apparently the auto brightness will around that

Say you have it at 75% brightness and auto brightness on, the level will go up to maybe about 85% while outdoors and maybe to about 65% in a dim room. Set it at 35% brightness with auto brightness on, the level goes up to 45% in a bright area and 25% in a dark area. That's how my old iPhone 4 used to work.

Click Phone Information
Set Preferred Network Type to
GSM/CDMA AUTO (PRL)
Enable Mobile Data and then check.
But see if your location supports 3G and if your network is offering free 3G.

has anybody tested LG Optimus G Pro F240l (korian version) on 3g in pakistan yet..?

plz share ur experience , i have this set but i have warid network which is not providing 3g


want to know if it is working on our 3g network or not so that i can get a new 3g connection.

I know its sounds strange but my telenor 3g is only working in this setting and more stranger part is that gsm is also working in this mode even gsm is not included in the preferred network. Also when I select "GSM/LTE/WCDMA" or any other option "3G DOES NOT WORK" remember. But when I use zong in this setting, gsm does not work. I know this is strange but it is the only way. It means that when 3g is activated by the network provider, gsm is also linked to 3g. then put network gprs settings in settings>system>more>mobile networks>access point names>add new apn from options. Then enable mobile data. There you go,now 3g will work in vega 850. This is how my telenor 3g is working.

Bro, SHV-E210L is the worst out of all the E210 variants.

E210S and E210K can be converted into I9300 because they have the same partition table and the S and K carriers operate on the more common 3G/4G frequencies. The L one doesn't. I used to have an E210L. I tried everything I possibly could to get EDGE working on E210L but I couldn't. So 3G most probably wont work either.

But just for the heck of it, change network mode to WCDMA Preferred or WCDMA Only when you're in the Mobilink coverage area, if the 3G/H/H+ sign doesn't come it means 3G wont work on your phone. If it does then lucky you!

S band phones are strong in signal stability than the other bands.
Flash the stock Korean kdz to get the right parameters band to keep waves strongs. Usually people facing this issue when they converted to e9xxx rom.

First of all, Thanks for taking the time to share your valuable insight here :)

The concerned Optimus G Pro is running fully stock 4.1.2 Jelly Bean ROM (LG Code: V10Z; Build: JZO54K).

There are two problems, and both are "Signal Drop" issues.
1. Cell Reception drops randomly
2. WiFi connection shuts down on its own randomly

I am certain its a software problem and can be fixed, just wanted an opinion of the guys who have faced this in the past, because this way i'll be able to solve this faster as i am rather short on time these days .

How you assure that this stock version band suit to our local networks . you need to flashed multiple kdz rom and sticked with stable one where u get the good signal reception.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
