EA thinks that titanfall is selling good enough to warrant a sequel.
Only to get a bigger piece of the pie. They know they made a mistake by betting on the wrong horse and now they're trying to make amends as soon as possible.

COD was a much bigger package with huge Activision funding. Titanfall was a small developer with less then 100 guys working, took over by EA and then MS at the very end.
Guess how many people worked on Call of Duty 4? A hundred :tv:

And did you really just call Titanfall a "small development"? The game that's being called "Microsoft's Killer app" ever since E3. The marketing budget alone must have skyrocketed into the millions for that game.

Infamous is made by a know developer with tons of expereince and first party support. Anyone trying to make it look like a next GTA ,was living in the dreamland considering at the pedigree and talent of Sucker Punch. I believe there games sell in the range of 2-3 million max with mediocre meta.
So on one end you're saying that Sucker Punch is a known developer, which West and Zampella clearly aren't with games like Call of Duty and MOHAA under their belt, then you say they have no talent. What are they known for then exactly
You are a contradiction to yourself my friend.

all that bling doesn't come without sacrifices. water effects are static in this game and don't react to player interaction.
Water has never played a major role in any of the Infamous games. Cole would get electrified if he entered water and Delsin can't swim. On top of that, the whole game takes place on dry land. Maybe if Delsin had water powers this would be something worth looking into but as it stands the only thing prevalent to a showcase of his powers is the lighting which is top notch here.

Titanfall might not be revolutionary now, but you will be hard pressed to find a shooter in next 5 years which is not implementing PARKOUR and TITANS into the mix.
It's a new IP. If it isn't revolutionary now, what hope does it have for being so in the future

wait what? can u confirm this enlightening(no pun intended) revelation? wow never thought such balant fanboyist post would come frm u. by this logic i guess Kojima realized what BIG mistake he made by keeping MGS exclusive and made amends too :laugh1:

ah but u see this among the very few positive points abt this game(as per reviewers), graphics play the biggest role and its just surprising that a puddle of water on the street doesn't react to player's foot steps or shows reflections of any kind. its a small thing i agree but is quite noticeable as per one reviewer.

Exactly! I don't see the character's reflection or his feet making ripples. Thanx for providing me with visual reference :)
Dude, now this is a negative? I honestly never noticed this until you started talking about it. I'd just call it a minor setback in term of graphics, the rest of the game is freaking gorgeous. Just see the video that i posted.

U did not read carefully Downgrade was only for Console. There is no meaning or word downgrade for PC.
lol no. Go play some of Ubisoft's recent games and watch early pre-release footage. The downgrades are real and for every platform, including PC.

Heck, it isn't really even a downgrade, since the original E3 2012 footage was just a carefully orchestrated demonstration.

ok yeah that was really cool(minus the massive fps dips)(y)
The frame dips like these only occur during the ultimate move aka the Karmic Bomb, when we have no control over Delsin. As you see, the Neon one is really demanding but just mind blowing to see it on screen.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
