Great workaround for Google Checkout

okay well found out an awesome service that helps you buy from google checkout


enter Entropay(http://www.entropay.com)

account is free to create

then verify your identity(give them proof of address and identification docs)... i sent them my bank account e-statement for proof of address and my passport scan for ID verification...


after that you can create a virtual credit card that works literally anywhere on the web... including AMAZON and GOOGLE CHECKOUT based services..

create a virtual credit card and you load to it using your internet enabled debit card(i tried SCB visa debit, UBL mastercard and UBL mega wallet debit). Ofcourse you need to verify details of the debit card you are going to add.


the whole verification process(ID , address and card) takes 3-4 days but in the end it is worth it ... i have a $20,000 spending limit on my VCCs which is awesome and now it works across every single website where my normal debit card would not work(google checkout and amazon for instance)


okay now the fees....

there is a 5% service charge on every amount deposited ..no matter how big .... deposit 100 dollars to your vcc and pay 5 dollars extra..

online shopping is free.. no additional service charges while using card online...card issuance is also free

when buying in a currency other than USD(or the currency you chose when creating account)... they use their own wholesale exchange rates and add a 2% service charge... which is pretty much the same as the local banks in pakistan....


rest fees and limits can be found on the website....

try it out .... its worth a look.. atleast im their happy customer now !!

oh and the support is awesome too !! :D

it can load via pakitani debit cards..bank account support is there aswell but not for pak..did not find a paypal option

That means once the documents have been authenticated by them, we ll be able to transfer funds? If that is the case, i highly appreciate your effort of letting us know.
Payoneer card, i never received it. All i need it virtual card, no plastic card

[MENTION=989]shad0w[/MENTION] ... payoneer is good aswell but has exhorbitant loading charges and also a 30 USD yearly fee for the plastic card ...

here on entropay there is no plastic card.. no yearly fee.. only a 5USD charge that too if your account is dormant and no transaction is made for 6 months ...otherwise just the loading and if applicaple, the foreign exchange charges ...

How long does it take to verify. I have sent them the required documents.

i used the exact address registered on my entropay account on google checkout .... and also tried a fake US address on amazon .. both transaction went thru nicely .. but it still doesnt work on EA origin .. WTF .. what kind of cards does origin accept i wonder ...

So far it works like charm on google play store :)
Thanks alot for such valuable tip...... They asked for Credit card authentication. Soon I am going to top 100 dollars :)

I was quite happy ready all The first thing came in my mind online game buying is now eaay and then i read this wtf ?
This card doesnt work on origin ? Wtf why ppl using credit card for purchasing game so why this one doesnt work

can i buy cydia tweaks using amazon payments? i have mcb/ubl/hbl atm/visa debit cards i tried all three but it's not topping up.

^UBL requires session activation before you can use ... and you have to verify the card aswell ... yes ive tried buying humble bundle and digital puchases via amazon .. they work

[MENTION=4999]Pleasant[/MENTION] .. i was surpised aswell that it doesnt work on origin then i tried my credit card and that doesnt work on origin aswell .. so i guess none of the pakistani cards work on orign ... but this card works on all key stores and all ... works fine on steam too .. but then again my scb debit card works directly on steam aswell .. so i just use entropay where my scb debit card dont work

Use the top up method available to you on the account .. I use my standard chartered debit card which can be used after authentication by entropay

Ok I used my charterred account and even got virtual credit card number and info after adding 10$, it even got deducted from mu charterred bank account. then entered that virtual card info in my Google wallet which accepted it.

Then i went to Play store and started purchase of Swype application, it asked me to enter google password which i did but got a message "an error occured" and it took me back to password window.

It looks like the card isnt being accepted by play store

    did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
