Sup y'all,

Been some time since I posted outside of the marketplace. Need some suggestions for a really cool kickass present for my brother (he'll turn 17 in Jan '14). We already have a xbox 360, PS3 and Wii and will be shifting to next gen mid of next year. He's set in terms of cell phone and computer for the time being (hand downs from us older siblings). So throw some kick ass ideas about what to give him as a present.

Why not ask the brother directly? I mean how hard can it be? Its a simple question, like "What do you want for your birthday".

Exactly, I don't get why people come here and go like 'tell me what to get for person X'. We don't know that person - how're we supposed to tell you what'd be best for him? I'd understand if you would have a list of things that you want us to pick from or are stuck between two different kinds of cell phones or headphones or whatever. Atleast make an effort on your own part before expecting others to help you. If you want serious, helpful replies here, tell us what your brother's likes/interests/hobbies are or pick a couple of things out and we'll help you decide between them.

Thanks for the replies people. Nah, my budget is around 10k at most.

Okay, I was thinking something along the lines of cool gaming merchandise. Like I got him a AC III shirt a while back and Master Chief action figure. Something like that maybe.

He already has a nice watch and XBL subscription and all the obvious suggestions. Wanted something crazy and cool along the lines of gaming merchandise related to Assassin's Creed or Halo or Skyrim.

If nothing, the miniatures are awesome to stare at. And the dice are cool

Well you guys are planning to get a ps4/xbox one mid of next year... but if you get it on his birthday as a surprise it would be really cool.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.
