i have a query.. i just got the key of bf3.. can i download base game from torrent or any local sharing portal (dodear.com), just to save my time? and activated the key?
or i have to download using origin?
P.S. I have Connect.Net internet + Fariya Net available too

The game itself is 25GB now. You can download files from another website, but the download will resume from around 11GB. The other 14GB is a set of patches, updates etc.

still skipping 11gb will be great :)
can you tell me how to install the game, i already change installation path from origin to my desired location (which is, f:/games) now i have install the game in this directory and will continue from 11gb?

Unless you want your installed files gone, don't do this. You HAVE to let Origin download around 30-50MB. Pause it, replace the Origin files with your installed files, then resume. At least, that's what most people do.
But I use another way which I described here, http://www.pakgamers.com/forums/f75/[guide]-resuming-battlefield-3-previous-176281/

I recommend you try the first way first. If it fails, THEN try my way of resuming.

well i asked my cousin to download it for me from his sharing server, he got dc++ sharing on his local net plus my local sharing refused to seed else i would download it myself from my local sharing portal..

BF3 disappeared from my origin account ? i last played bf3 in aug 2012 and few months back i opened my origin account and noticed there is no BF3 there, i contacted EA support and the asked me to verify my account details but sadly i couldn't remember the answer to my Security question. i purchased the game from RAJNI and i think it was RU Version.

First clear these things


for BF3 premium you require BASE GAME
and BF3 PREMIUM EDITION it is BF3 BASE GAME + PREMIUM

if you have FREE BF3 copy yes you can add premium on it

as you said you have Base game so Go for BF3 Premium not "premium edition"

Yes premium contains all premium perks and all DLC

unfortunately i am not having a credit card right now as i don't use credit cards.
what i am furious about right now is bank alhabib. They lured me to buy the Golden VISA Card with 50K per transaction limit for international and internet based transaction but at the stage of activation they are denying the usability of the card on internet.

il visit the branch manager and shove it up to his sweet spot first thing tomorrow morning.
