[NBA] GTX650Ti or 7850 1GB/2GB

Finally time to upgrade GPU.
I know 7850 is the superior here but I want to spend the least possible and get the best value for the rupiya card,

1.650Ti will retail for 16k at AUTech
2.7850 1GB for 20k
3.7850 2GB for 23.5k(Galaxy)

So which one is a better deal ? I will mainly be playing BF3 at 1920x1080 resolution.

650ti if u dont wana spend more money but u know in high res nvidia gets obnoxious so its up to u.

well for the hd resolution, the expensive u get is the better....

and as far as 7850 it gives u a very gOod price to performance ratio....

so if u can get ur hands easily on 7850, 23.5k,

then go ahead...

and if u want to have something left in pocket, then get 650ti and get satisfying results of bf3 On HIGH settings(not ultra) with 650ti

The GeForce GTX 650 Ti is simply not a graphics card to game at 1920x1200, heck even a GTX 660 (which is ~29k) struggles to give playable FPS at such high resolution with everything maxed-out (incl. 4xMSAA).

1680x1050 is the typical resolution for a card like GTX 650 Ti. 1920x1080 won't be a problem for the GTX 650 Ti if you lower your settings quite a bit. It performs close to HD 6950 and is 10% faster than the HD 6870 on average. And also, 1GB of vRAM should be sufficient for the wide range of games, unless you play heavily modified Skyrim.

Honestly, the price difference between the GTX 650 Ti and HD 7850 1GB holds me from recommending it, it's a great card otherwise with a good overclocking potential.

(correct me if i am wrong)

so what u r saying here is that for a resolution 1680*1050 650ti performs as well as 6950, which is a way more expensive and possessing heavy spex.

Well the review I mentioned in my previous post suggest something like that. Technically they (HD 6950 and GTX 650 Ti) can't be compared to each other since both belong to different generations.

Final decision
7850 1GB OCed with 2 year warranty for 20k
7850 2GB stock for 22.9k

Will 2gb really be beneficial for future games at 1920x1080 reso ?
