aoa guyz,
i am about to buy 6790 after loads of research and stuff. i have a few things that i need to confirm.
  • xfx or his?
  • i have antec ea 500w psu. is that enough for the graphic card?

  • i have a total budget of 15,500 but since my max resolution is going to be 1280*1024. iam wouldn't be going any higher. Any thoughts?
i have finally got the cash in my hands. can't waitttttttt

1. his over xfx anytime, but both are actually not to bad.
2. yes that psu is perfectly fine, since it is continuous 500w not peak which would still be fine actually so u are in good hands.
3.yea for that resolution you can prob run most games on high or ultra with some unnessarly power hungry options off.

I would personally go for 6850 by putting out little more cash to be more future proof but this works fine if ur really in a tight budget

3- For this resolution even AMD 6770 will be enough. So if you want to save around 2k get 6770, otherwise you are perfectly fine with your current selection. ;)

1) HIS or XFX doesn't really matter as both are equal for us (Pakistanis) so you/we won't be dealing directly with them.
2) The power supply you've is more than enough even for an ATI 6870 1GB, hence you've a lot more headroom to spare (probably 80 Watts or so along with your basiq system).
3) The native resolution of your monitor is actually at worst side (too low).

Nonetheless, go, follow your heart and all the best.

and another thing. thermaltake v3 won't be a problem right?
