some info required on importing an lcd/lcd tv from abroad

as the topics sates i require some info on importing a 40 inch sony bravia lcd/lcd from uk

there are few things i will alike to ask

1)what will be the custom tax on it if the lcd costs 300pounds
2)will it work perfectly here because i think there is difference in frequency of there and here
3)can my cousin who is coming from uk (UK citizen) bring it without paying tax by saying he is taking it for his own use and bringing it in his own baggage

help will be appreciated

we have HD sky box so our HD tv works perfect ,hey do u have HD channels in pakistan then its gonna work perfectly second u getting very cheap tv where u getting from , all bravias i found was above 500 pounds

1)Depends on the size of the tv and the type i.e lcd or led, a 32 inch sony lcd is charged around $150 and 40 inch is around $250 customs duty. Payable at the airport.
2)I dont think there should be a problem but you should compare the spec sheet just to be sure.
3)Probably not, itni bari cheez dekh k customs walon k munn main pani ajata hai! Jugaar hai toh try kerlo lekin phir bhi buhat mushkil hai.

    did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
