I called their helpline and complaint that my card isn't working I also told them that my card is old chipless one they said it should still work also I told them that my card will expire in October so I want to apply for a new card but they told me to wait till October and let the card expire.I went to my nearest MCB bank and they checked original one and then kept a copy of cnic and within next few days, it updated to Level 1 with the following limits.
Updating to Level 1 can be done anytime, no restrictions.

I have the same question. My shitty bank Bank AL Habib's visa debit card doesn't work online. Their helpline says that it is designed that way. I am looking for a card that I can reload and use on AliExpress. I'm not in a position to open a new bank account. Thanks!
I'm stuck with the same shitty bank and debit card for many years now currently I'm waiting for SadaPay to launch their services so I don't have to open another account for another debit card.
@Saadssk94 @nightfury11 Until SadaPay launches, Your best bet right now is MCB Lite. It used to work pretty much everywhere before MCB added shit tons of restrictions on it. Still works fine on Steam, Epic Games, Deezer and was working fine on AliExpress (at least a couple months ago).
Can you please confirm that it still works with AliExpress because I don't want to get tied with a bank that I can't use for online transactions? Thanks!

MCB had blocked payments for several services such as Google Play and Netflix but that is old news. Card works fine on said sites now. Still gets declined here and there.
If you're looking for a prepaid debit card for online payments, you've got better options now than Lite, like NayaPay.

I used mcb lite in the past, however, right now it is no longer practical for me. Verifications, upgrades etc, it is tormenting.

you can opt for UBL or standard chartered account their card also works almost anywhere but their service charges are higher as compared to Nayapay or mcb lite

Yeah, Their app isn't available on Huawei's Appstore or even iOS.
Wouldn't really recommend it but if you really must, I suppose you can use someone else's Android phone whom you trust. Download the app on their phone but use your mobile number at signup.

I have been using Meezan bank Platinum Debi card card since last 3 years and lately been observing that they are upto no good. Just to check, today i ordered from Aliexpress a $0.99 item with free shipping, and i was charged Rs.230 for it. upon checking my statement, i saw there USD to PKR rate for this transaction was @ Rs. 222.5??? when i asked on help line what is the interbank rate today , i was told it was Rs214, then how come i was charged @ Rs 222.5? Anyway he kept me on hold and disconnected the call himself after 3 mins without providing me any info regarding this matter.
