which thing bans us

please tell me guys which thing bans us is pirated games then if i use original games disc
then can i be banned if is cause of console then theres something likedont sign in when update is near
for how long i will not be sign i mean when when that update goes please help me

well if u havea modded console u can be banned... if ur console is unflashed then there is no fear of going on live.. also if u are running flashed/modded console then make sure u have got atleast iXtreme 1.2 firmware flashed on ur console because it does not allow u to run bad copies of pirated game's which usually is the main factor here.. bad copies of pirated game's which have some data missing like crc sector's or crc value's when we go to live are uploaded to ms server and if they detect something is wrong with the game then u get ban... also if u see an update on live like the fall update coming in december don't do it yet if u have a modded console wait and watch wat happen's to other modder's and then decide wat u wanna do... if they are safe u do it aswell... well frankly saying no one really know's how ms ban;s u but these are some of the factor's which have been known for the cause of banning...
