Thinking of downloading WOW...

Alright I think its finally time to switch from CS.. So I have a few questions

firstly which version of WOW should I download which you guys play online ?
can it work ( for the time being ) on a p4 512 mb ram with a fx 5200 ?

is it really that addictive ?

Download WoW Classic then TBC then WotLK.
I'd go for the client available on WoWwiki, comes pre-patched to 3.0, all you have to do is install the x-packs and a few tiny patches.
