Karazhan 3-manned O_O

I've just come accross this news.
A 3-man group comprising of a Ret Pally, a holy Pally and a Prot Warrior have 3-manned Kara. All of the 3 were SUnwell geared but 3 manning a 10 man raid is just insane. Raids got nerfed in the 3.0.2 Patch so that explains quite a bit.

Metosai, a partially Sunwell geared Protection Warrior, recently ran Karazhan with a mix of experienced characters and some lesser geared ones. About a third of the raid was in greens, he said. They cleared the place in under an hour. Metosai was surprised at just how easy it was, and decided to see if they could do it with just three.

He looked for a couple of people from his guild to help him, and they took to Karazhan with a team of a Protection Warrior (Metosai), a Retribution Paladin (Dok), and a Holy Paladin (Dantez). The first half of the instance was easy, they say, but the second half got a little more dicey. Netherspite was cited as the most difficult to figure out how to do with three people (it took 5-6 tries).

Metosai also mentioned that the Shade of Aran turned out to be one of the harder encounters as well, due to how fast paced it was for just the three of them

An amazing feat. Im surprised that they did it without a priest. The protection warrior must be having some serious armour on him which made the healing process easier for the palas.

even though they r T6 Kara aint cake
ive been there once and even the mobs killed and i was full T6 :S
i suppose these guyz took advantage of the new talents of 3.0.2?

Well I can understand why they took Prot Warrior, Ret Pala and Holy Pala..
After 3.0.2, Prot Warriors are doing some insane amount of DPS... Prot Holy Pala is well still a nub.. he still doesn't have Shield of Righteousness so that's 1 less ability to do dmg..

Ret Pala because, atm, Ret Paladins are the only self dependent single dps class in the whole game. No one comes near them atm.. not even Hunters because they rely heavily on raid utilities like Enh. Shammies and other hunters.. And Ofcourse, Art of War makes them additional healer as well.. !!

Holy Pala is understandable as well since, truth be told, all other healing class, except druids, excel at best when there are alot of people to heal.. for fewer people, Holy Paladin with Beacon of Light is "THE BEST" choice.


Karazhan is now 3-Mannable because of two things.
1: After 3.0.2, all raid Bosses / mobs hp was cut by 20%.
2: Most of the abilities like Judgement of Light and Judgement of the Wise, are geared towards lvl 80 stats.. For Example, 400 Healing from JoL and 129 Mana from JoW..

Oh and both BT and SWP are child's play for T6 Geared now .. just need brains =_='
Even a Paladin can tank Illidan (Prot pala in sig btw )

one thing i dont understand
how can female BEs be tank? it just aint rite
although much better than Gnome Warriors but it just aint rite lol

1 thing i notice iz all 3 r plate wearing classes means they dont have to protect clothies

yeah

with 2x Bubbles and 2x BoP

so you can guess that it's more of a test of endurance than skill

..

And OMG YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT !!
Nearly 80% of the Prot Palas i've come across to are Belf Female =_='

You know what i haven't seen though? A female undead tanking .. Or have I?

^man i havent played on Retail
i play on private servers i didnt do KilJeadan or Muru done it till Eradar Twins
i might try retail but it will take too long to lvl to 80 maybe 6 months tops well i dont have that much time
hell i got bored lvling a hunter on one realm with 40 times Xp rate of Blizzard

I see..
Well It took me 4 months to lvl the mage..
and like 2 months to lvl the pala.. I had help on pala so that really doesn't count. =)
