Intel's upcoming G35 chipset has had its integrated graphics core christened by Intel and will hence forth be known as the X3500.

It will support DX 10 in hardware, but we already knew this. It will also have support for T&L and Shader Model 3.0 in hardware. Oddly enough the information that we've seen doesn't mention how Shader Model 4 will be done, just that it's there.

You do of course get all the standard features such as Intel Clear Video which accelerates MPEG2 and VC1 encoded high definition video, as well as support for HDMI with HDCP encryption for HD DVD or Blu-Ray playback.

The X3500 graphics core is Windows Vista Premium Logo certified, but we doubt this will mean jack to its 3D performance.

buddy this mobo would come out probably next year.... and DDR-3 is insanely expensive now days.... u can also get DDR-3 with P35 chipsets which are available online.... but the difference b/w DDR-2 and DDR-3 is just a few Milli seconds.... not worth the price..... u can buy DDR-2 1066 and get nearly the same performance

Price Drop in DDR2 Rams

There is a price drop. DDR2 memories are now available for half of what they costed 4 months back. For e.g. 1GB 667Mhz DDR2 Ram is now available for only 2500-2700

975 doesn't have builtin GFX...... performance wise 965 is better.... but from overclocking point of view 975 is better
