Hello,

So i recently started having problem with my pc where it shuts down randomly without any warning or bsod, then wont boot up until left unplugged for few seconds.

First thing i changed was psu but the issue remained, after alot pf troubleshooting i still couldn't figure it out.
So i called a friend who recently started building a ryzen based pc, he has Asus TUF Pro gaming he came with his mobo at my place and then we tested the different mobo with the exact same setup, and his mobo ran fine, no crashes or anything, i still tried several times but it ran fine. Then i switched it back to my mobo again and same happened.

So after this i can probably say that motherboard is faulty, now i wanna know is, can it be repaired? Is there anyone in karachi who can take a look at it? Or should i just purchase a new one?

Motherboard: Gigabyte AX370-Gaming 3

Nope. Faulty VRMs.

If you got warranty, get it replaced.
otherwise, this is as good as a paper weight now.

Only way to prevent this damage from happening again is to know if you're supplying CLEAN STABLE POWER to your PC, from Outlet to PSU to Motherboard.

And a UPS helps you with that.

Dont give a false advice to anyone like this bro, someone would just waste their thousands thinking its gone bad, I took it someone who repairs motherboard and he told that its power/voltage regulator is gone bad, he took my 30 mins and 500Rs and since then the mobo is running fine.

Hey, suit yourself.
What I said isn't false according to your description.
I've had multiple motherboards gone bad on me like this as well.

This modulator repair is just like your GPU Jugaar, won't be long term.

But you do you, since you lucked out.

Have a good day.

Sure it wont be long term, cause the case went against what you said.

Mods can close the thread, before wanna be linus make this a debate.
