Dubai Visa

Hello fellow members!

I want to go to Dubai. I had Tuberculosis back in 2001 which was treated successfully. Currently i don't have an active tuberculosis but i do have scars on chest.

How my case will be treated ? Can I get visa? On various sites i read that person with old TB scars can get visa now. Is it true?

For visitors visa, you don't need to have medical. You can travel easily.
Secondly, there is an age limit to travel to UAE as a bachelor. If you are going with family, then you are good to go. Single females under 35 cannot travel alone and they made some changes for male as well and I guess its 32 years min limit. Still ask the travel agent whom you will apply with.

Visitors for 14 days is 21 under student visa is allowed as had a transit from turkey.
He is only planning to visit dubai only.

No I wasnt under transit + stay was 27 days + didnt apply using my Turkish residence

As for current information. They have changed some policies for Bachelors under 25 and females. (Spinsters ) under 35 of age. They need to be accompanied with alone. Alone travel has some restrictions these days ( temporarily)

This information was given to me by IATA for toursim on 11 nov 2016. Still reverify it with the travel agent. He might have some information on it.

As far to my knowledge they stricken the policy on and off. Right now its strict.

Sugguestion

Try for the 3 month visa. For this arrange a place where you could stay at. For such purposes, they ask a definate contact where to stay. Job hunting in dubai is purely luck and I wish you all the best. Places to stay for cheap accomadation would be Deira side where you can easily adjust to your initial stay and then move on with the passage once you have a good job INSHALLAH.

In the end I would say, just dont fall into those cheap sales counter job.

[MENTION=2126]Jshak[/MENTION] the 3 months visa you talked about will be visit visa? Right? so i don't need to worry about the health issues. suppose i get a job then the visa will convert into work visa? Right or wrong? if it will then what the authorities will do to me about my scars etc.

As for the medical, UAE medical list will define if you fit for for criteria for employement in UAE.
If you are fit and have no issues, then I don't see any harm.
Initially, within search and staying there will give you a significant idea of where and how things will lead.

I e-mailed Dubai Health Authority about my health issues and this is what i got in reply.

"Dear Sir,

According to the new Decree of the council of ministers,( resolution No. 5/2016 amending several provisions of the Cabinet Decree No. 7/2008 );
Applicants for new Resident Visa will undergo TB screening tests, if the results indicates Old or Active TB , an Unfit certificate will be issued and they will not be granted residence visa."
