Yeah the narrative is pretty non-existent. Reminds me of the Ace Combat games before they started having those pre/post-mission common man POV about the aftereffects of your missions. Wish there were something like that here too.
Regardless, the gameplay can be a lot of fun. Lots of customization options that affect detailed stats that, in turn, affect how your mech controls. Good stuff.
The game's first real boss fight (not counting the tutorial) was fun, but likely just a taste of things to come. Looking forward to some epic, multi-phase bosses that only From Soft can deliver.
