I think you must be referring to the 1 ton Inverter models because I just bought a 1.5 ton Haier Inverter for 61k.
The cooling's just okay. I'm not that impressed. I have it installed in my hall which is about 200 sq. ft. To my knowledge, a 18000 BTU split AC is good for a space as big as 700...
Hmm, so not only are there savings to be had but inverters cool better than regular split ACs? This is news to me.
Time to consider an inverter one then. But I'll have to stretch my budget to at least 60k for a 1.5 ton model, correct? Not necessarily Kenwood, can be any reliable brand.
There are definitely savings to be had but not by a huge margin. However, I'm told by some of the AC shop guys that inverters don't cool as well as the regular ones.
And don't ever get a Kenwood! I got one recently and returned it the next day as its cooling capacity was terrible.
The drip is near the drain pipe and right where the drain pan is (under the evap coil). There's no water dripping from underneath the unit on the wall, just the front part of the AC.
Well, I haven't checked the evap coil to see if half of it is cold but I do not believe it is low on refigerant...
Interestingly, the PEL one offers a 10 year warranty on the compressor while Kenwood offer 3 years. 1 year each for parts.
The Kenwood evap coil did look very clean and well built. No bent fins at all. The brand new ACs that I had a look at during my research had a few bent fins here and there...
I'm assuming we're talking about the respective ACs' life in Karachi weather?
Perhaps their customer service has improved now, who knows. I've heard good things about PEL's cooling potential. I'm also eyeing Kenwood very closely but for some reason want to avoid Haier and Gree altogether.
Best 1.5 ton split AC under 50k?
Hello folks!
My current budget is around 45k. I'm looking into getting a 1.5 ton non-inverter AC. So far, I've shortlisted PEL, Gree, Haier and Kenwood after a little market research.
Which one would you recommend and why?
Thanks a plenty!
Ahh..craphh! I had a hunch this might have been the problem. I even installed the YouTube app (even though I knew it wouldn't work) last night to get Forza Hub to work.
So no FREE PG Select Car Pack for us Horizon 2 lovers then... what a major shit sandwich!
This is not MS's problem at all...
Well, I'm pleasantly surprised that I'm not the only one.
Maybe it's stopped working in Pakistan... a YouTube-like situation maybe.
I'm sure all the rest of your apps are working fine?
Yes, it vents air from the top right part right? The one that kinda looks like a plastic grill. It is warm to the touch from that side as if warm air is escaping. Though I don't feel a draft coming out of the console from anywhere, as was the case with the X360.
Very strange you guys are not...
I wanted to create a separate thread for my concern, but then I came across this one.
So I'm experiencing performance stuttering issues in Forza 5. The fps remain constant, but there's a split-second hiccup during racing, which is hard to ignore and impacts gameplay to some extent.
There are...
I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform. Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
