    yeah its adsl just checked, called them and they said that they've put in a request to change it to vdsl transformed instead of adsl transformed with a new router etc. but isn't less snr margin bad?

I got my connection upgraded from 12 mbps adsl to vdsl 20 mbps and it happened like instantly, despite me thinking that it would take a few days so they could upgrade the router etc (i have the AMG1312-T10B router...

    So I called 1218, they informed me that its a port issue or something and that they'll get it restarted by the local linesman in 24hrs after I told them the attenuation and everything. Thanks for the help hopefully they'll get it done by tomorrow!

    Hey I did the speedtest and it came back 3.8mbps or something. Not quite near 12. And my downstream was 4096 with my upstream being 1024. So it seems that they haven't upgraded yet and lied (again). My attainable rate was around 27k for downstream though..
