1. i never said both sections serve the same purpose. please read my last VM again. i said both the threads you made served the same purpose.
2. both sections serve different purposes. generally speaking, all help-related threads and especially hardware help related threads go in the helpdesk section.
3. you dont need to worry about people not reading your thread in the helpdesk. everyone who visits the Tech Department forum goes through all its sub-forums, and that includes helpdesk AND broadband.
4. Lastly, please check your thread that was closed. I posted a link to your helpdesk thread there. anyone who sees that closed thread can post in your helpdesk thread easily, since ive posted the link.
